Our Response to COVID-19 and Our Commitment to You

Global Indemnity hopes that you and your loved ones continue to remain healthy during this time. With every day, there are new challenges for our agent partners and policyholders and we wanted to share our response to COVID-19:

Business Continuity

We activated our business continuity plan, which means that most of our staff is working from home. As a result, we have been fully-operational ensuring that we can continue to provide you with excellent service and support – same as always.

Business Travel Restriction

With the health and safety of our employees, agent partners, and those around us, we have restricted all business travel until further notice.

New Jersey Policyholders

New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance has extended grace periods to certain policyholders experiencing a financial hardship due to COVID-19. For more information, view our Notice for American Reliable Insurance Company policyholders and our Notice for Diamond State Insurance Company policyholders.

New York Policyholders

New York and the Department of Financial Services has extended grace periods and gives affected policyholders other rights under certain property/casualty insurance policies if you are an individual or small business and can demonstrate financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Click here to review this information.
